As a parent one of the most important skills I want my child to learn is how to play a musical instrument so when I got the opportunity to review My 1st Years personalised white ukulele I positively jumped at the chance. This ukulele is super cute, the perfect size for little hands to learn how to play and finished beautifully in white with touches of gold and black, it's adorable. The ukulele came in a beautiful My 1st Years Tiffany blue box with a little white bow, I thought this was a lovely touch and the packaging has such a luxurious feel to it making My 1st Years products the perfect gift for a special little one in your life. When I opened the box the ukulele was wrapped in white tissue paper, I just love the attention to detail in the packaging.
When I took the ukulele out of the box I immediately showed it to Tyler Lee who instantly smiled at it, I knew then that this ukulele, which must have looked so curious to him, would bring him so much joy. What I love about My 1st Years is that most their products are able to be personalised making them super special and a gift for a child to treasure forever. This ukulele is personalised with 'Tyler Lee 16-02-13' on a silver plaque on the top of the headstock, it truly is such a lovely thing. The strings of the ukulele are plastic and very sturdy - great for my little toddler who loves to pull at things, although, having said that he did pluck on the strings quite naturally so we may have a little musician on our hands! This ukulele will always have a special place in Tyler Lee's heart with it being his first proper musical instrument ever and I'm determined for him to learn to play it properly, until then he can create his own little tunes while having barrels of fun plucking at the strings! The personalised white ukulele is just £25 which I think is a bargain price for something so beautiful and which can bring a child so much joy. I love that the ukulele can actually be used and isn't something to just display, it's a great product and we love it.
