Living Arrows - Week 16 ♥

Your children are not you children, They are the sons and daughters of Life's longing for itself.
They come through you but not from you, And though they are with you yet they belong not to you. You may give them your love but not your thoughts, For they have their own thoughts.
You may house their bodies but not their souls, For their souls dwell in the house of tomorrow, which you cannot visit, not even in your dreams.
You may strive to be like them, but seek not to make them like you. For life goes not backward nor tarries with yesterday.
You are the bows from which your children as living arrows are sent forth. The archer sees the mark upon the path of the infinite, and He bends you with His might that His arrows may go swift and far.
Let your bending in the archer's hand be for gladness; For even as He loves the arrow that flies, so He loves also the bow that is stable.

I am taking part in I Heart Snapping's weekly Living Arrows project, a photography project to capture an image which represents childhood to you through the actions, likes, dislikes, looks and movements of your own children. Below is my picture for the sixteenth week of Living Arrows. It was a glorious day on Wednesday and as it was Jacek's only day off this week we decided to do something nice as a family, get out of the house and enjoy the sunshine. We went to one of our favourite places Fota House and Gardens and enjoyed the beautiful scenery as well as each others company. I got these scary to look back on but amazing shots of my boy and his daddy. Tyler Lee loved being thrown up in the air. He was giggling with delight and kept going up to his daddy so that he could do it again and again. These shots were taken in a time frame of about five seconds but I love the shots I got. My super baby, flying through the skies!
