I love eye makeup, especially bright and vivid coloured eye makeup so you can imagine my delight when I came across Eye Of Horus' Jewel Amethyst Goddess Eye Pencil which is not only an eye pencil with a gorgeous purple shade infused with microglitter but which can also be used as an eye shadow - how fab is that?! I love two in one products, they're fantastic value for money and you get so much use out of them. The packaging and overall look of this product has the same Egyptian inspired vibe as Eye Of Horus' Goddess Smokey Eye Pencil which I have previously reviewed. I love the whole ethos behind Eye Of Horus products - using ancient Egyptian techniques and ingredients to create products which are paraben-free and not tested on animals, this is a big winner in my book.
Once again this eye pencil glides onto the eyelid and skin effortlessly giving a gorgeous colour to the eye and making it pop. The microglitter infused within the formula really makes it something special yet it is still demure enough to wear for daytime. The hint of sparkle in this eyeliner really is beautiful, when the light catches it on the eye it's stunning. The smudge brush which is contained on the other end of the eye pencil is fantastic for creating a colourful smokey eye look or for simply applying the eyeliner as an eye shadow all over the eyelid. I am so impressed by the quality of Eye Of Horus products and am eager to try some more. This eye pencil is one which I shall be using a lot, I think the effect it gave it my eye makeup was gorgeous and anything item of makeup which can make me feel good about my appearance is a big winner in my book!
