NOTD - A Little Bit Of Irish Magic ♥

I wanted to create a green NOTD look with a bit of sparkle as I was inspired by a St. Patrick's Day nail look which my friend Marion showed me, it was stunning! I went on the hunt for a bright green nail polish and a green holographic glitter topcoat, I found one set but it was 13.95 euro for a tiny bottle so I resisted. I couldn't find either polish at a reasonable price anywhere else so I had to settle for a polish I already had in my collection, NYC's Foil Explosion polish in 'Magic Earth'. This polish give a metallic finish to the nail and the colour is not one I'd usually go for, a mossy type green, but I do think it looks good as part of this look, I needed a green for an Irish inspired NOTD didn't I?! To add the Irish magic I decided to give my nails a bit of sparkle using two glitter lacquers by Fashion Make-Up, shades No. 2 a gorgeous gold glitter and shade No. 1 a stunning silver, I would have loved if these were holographic glitters but hey, you have to make do with what you've got! If anyone can recommend any I'd be very grateful! I thought this look came out rather nice, although the NYC polish is quite lumpy and bumpy but then it is really cheap so I'll forgive that. I think the look gives a little nod to the Irish flag too, green, white (silver in this case) and gold. I hope to find more green polishes and green glitter topcoats and when I do I'll be back with more Irish themed nails for you all!
