Halloween Makeup - Veiled Eyed Skeleton ♥

I saw a few makeup looks in one of my favourite magazines, Company magazine and was inspired to create a look of my own taking elements from the different looks featured to create my own, unique look. I loved the veil eyed look and really wanted to give it a go for myself. I used a black eyeshadow, a shadow part of Maybelline's Eyestudio duo 'Cosmic Black' and covered my whole eye with it and my eyebrows. I applied a kohl eyeliner to the upper and lower lash line, coating it thick with the black. There was no need to use mascara as I wanted the focus to be on the lace. I cut two lace panels off an old top I had and stuck it under my lower lash line using false eyelash glue. I dusted my face with talcum powder to give a skeletal look. I then drew on a nose socket panel using an Urban Decay eyeliner and also used this to draw on the skeletal smile. I filled in the white panels with Sugarpill's 'Taco' eye shadow. I did this look so quickly, I think it took about five minutes. It looks quite complicated but it's so simple. When I do it again for Halloween I'll try to find a matte black eye shadow as I think it'd look better without the shimmer on the eye. I'll also take more time with the nose socket panel and try to perfect it a bit more. I'll be rocking this look for Halloween when I take my baby boy visiting his relatives.

Stay pretty people!
