Family Day Out - Fota House & Gardens ♥

With the glorious weather we had here in Ireland for the last two weeks (unfortunately we're back to the rain now!) Jacek and I wanted to go out somewhere as a family and enjoy the great weather in a scenic setting so we decided on Fota House and gardens. Fota House and gardens are just five minutes away from our home and they are so picturesque. This place is definitely one for the nature lovers and the budding botanists! Now is the time of year to visit as all the flowers are in bloom and the colours are breathtaking. Tyler Lee was mesmerised by it all and loved looking at the trees, I don't think he's ever seen anything so tall. It's a great place to go for a walk, to visit the cafe, look at the gorgeous plants and flowers, tour the house or to simply read a book on one of the many benches dotted around the grounds. We shall definitely be returning more times during the summer and will also be taking Tyler Lee to the adjoining wildlife park, hopefully in August when he is six months old. If you are ever visiting the Cork area and are interested in visiting Fota House and gardens or seeing what events they are holding at particular times then you can find all the information you need here - Fota House website.

Stay pretty people!
