Hello dollies! I have loved Soap & Glory for a long time having fallen in love with their pretty pink and vintage inspired packaging whilst on holiday in Jersey one year. I have recently become very interested in skincare and in trying to find the perfect products for my sensitive yet oily skin. Some products I have tried in my blogging time have been too harsh for my skin and have caused small breakouts so I had to continue on my search for the perfect product.
One of the products I received for Christmas 2012 was 'Scrub Your Nose In It', a multi-tasking facial scrub and mask combined, which, in Soap & Glory's own words - "Helps refine large pores and prevent blemishes...Special fruit acid formula leaves skin looking brighter and more radiant". On this occasion I am glad to report that this product actually lives up to the brands claims. Far too many times have I bought a product which claimed to be the be all and end all to all of my skincare problems only to be disappointed with the result, but thankfully Soap & Glory delivers with this product.
I use Scrub Your Nose In It every morning, leaving the product on my face for an extra five minutes so that it forms into a deep cleansing mask. The product states on the back to leave it on for just three minutes longer to achieve results but I always like to give a bit of added time to products just to get their full worth.
The product itself is light green in colour with a minty smell. If you are a fan of Soap & Glory and are familiar with their products then Scrub Your Nose In It has the same appearance and smell as their Slimwear product. In the morning I apply a small dollop of this to my damp face, concentrating on the t-zone and nose area. This product is fabulous as you can feel it seeping into your skin the moment you apply it and it gives a great tingling feeling, which I presume is from the mint element to it, which make me feel as though this is really doing something wonderful to my skin. I was amazed the first time I used this and washed it off. My skin appeared brighter, softer and my nose was almost completely clear of blackheads which had been clogging up my pores. I could really see the difference it had made to my skin after just one use and that is something which I love, seeing the effects of a product straight away.
Another element to the Soap & Glory brand that I love is that their products are not tested on animals so I can rest assured that no creature has been harmed in my beauty adventure. Scrub Your Nose In It is €9.25 for 125ml and it's absolutely worth every cent of it's price.
I'm really looking forward to trying out the rest of the Soap & Glory products I received for Christmas and if they all worth as great as Scrub Your Nose In It then I will be one very happy lady. Keep your eyes peeled for my future reviews.
Stay pretty people!
