Pretty Post #1 ♥

It was a very slow post week this week but the two items I did receive were birthday packages so woo hoo! The first package I received came from my friend Hippy in California and it contained all the things I need for a pampering night in, just what a new mother needs! It also contained peace sign motif earrings, hippy stuff from Hippy, how quaint! She also wrote my letter on a balloon, I thought this was such a cool idea, very creative! The second package I received was from my friend Tina in Germany. I received a The Color Institute 'Caribe' makeup set, perfect for creating a summery makeup look and a bejewelled owl charm necklace along with some booties for Tyler and some Easter goodies. Aren't they the sweetest? If you've never tried snail mail I highly recommend you try it. Writing a letter is so therapeutic and lets be honest, who doesn't like receiving personalised post in the mail instead of a bunch of junk mail or bills? I've been writing letters with people around the world since July 2009 and I can safely say it is the best hobby I have ever taken up and it is now one of my biggest passions in life, not only have I made some wonderful friends but I've also learnt about other cultures, customs and received some pretty things in my time.

Stay pretty people and pick up a pen!
