Keeping Babies' Skin Healthy & Protected in Winter With AVEENO® Baby ♥

*This is a collaborative post in association with AVEENO® Baby, however, as always, all thoughts and opinions expressed are 100% my own. #ad

Winter can be an awful season for those who suffer with sensitive and dry skin. The combination of cold, harsh weather days and warm central heating air can wreak havoc on the skin, causing it to become dry, flaky and prone to irritation.

Beau has sensitive skin and I try my best to keep it protected, healthy and free from irritation. I've been using AVEENO® Baby products on his skin since he was tiny and they really help to keep his skin in tip top condition.

We go on a daily walk and now that the days are getting colder and breezier, I'm conscious about the effect the ice-cold winds and freezing air are having on his skin. Of course, he's then coming home to a house filled with central heating air too, which can be particularly drying on a baby's delicate skin.

To help protect his sensitive skin against the elements - both outdoors and indoors - I use AVEENO® Baby Soothing Relief Baby Emollient Cream on his body and face every morning as I'm dressing him and at night before I put him in his pyjamas. This emollient cream is formulated with natural colloidal oatmeal and helps to nourish the skin. It's also unscented - meaning it won't irritate his skin in any way due to any unnecessary additives.

This emollient cream immediately moisturises his skin and leaves it feeling baby soft. It also soaks into his skin straight away too so he isn't left feeling damp and uncomfortable. The emollient cream is also clinically proven to soothe and moisurise the skin for 24 hours too, so I know his skin is protected throughout the day and night.

I use bath time as the perfect opportunity to rehydrate both Beau's and Tyler's skin. I use AVEENO Baby Soothing Relief Baby Emollient Wash in their bath and this helps to gently cleanse and sooth dry skin which is prone to irritation. Just like the emollient cream, this emollient wash contains natural colloidal oatmeal and is also unscented. This emollient wash really helps to soothe both of my boys' skin and keep it soft and nourished. This emollient wash is also tear-free and soap-free - which is great when you have two boys who love splashing in the bath!

I can't recommend the AVEENO® Baby range of products enough for parents of little ones with sensitive skin. They've really helped to keep both of my boys' skin healthy, moisturised and nourished and I'm glad to have found a brand which works for their skin.  #ad

  1. We are using this also but I have switched back to the light blue bottle. Can't remember the name of it. The body wash seems a bit better and easier to get out because this is thicker and also it seems to repair the skin quicker. But every child is different. x
