Me & Mine {June 2017} ♥

Another month has raced by us and it really doesn't seem like that long ago since I wrote our last Me & Mine update - having forgotten to take any pictures for it of course, oops! So when we visited Jersey Lavender Farm, I made sure that we took a couple of family snaps - it's amazing what you can capture by balancing your camera on a bench!

This past month was a lovely one for us with us going on holiday to Jersey, Channel Islands to visit my Dad and Shirley. It was a much needed break for us and thankfully we got there in the end after all the hoo-hah with Tyler's passport being out of date - always check your passports people!

We were able to spend time together as a family, but Jacek and I also got a day to ourselves as were strolled around the sunny island of Sark - you can read about our visit to Sark here. I think it's so important to have both family time and couples time in equal measure.

On the last day of our holiday we were told that our landlord is selling the house we live in, so although we had a lovely holiday and made lots of great memories together, the latter part of the month has been filled with worry, panic and anxiety, with a surprising added sadness for me to be leaving the house we brought our babies home to. I aired my thoughts about all of this in my Nowhere To Call Home post.

Now our days are filled with packing and throwing things out - not how I envisioned our summer to be at all. I'm looking at it all as a new adventure for us as a family and I firmly believe in fate, so obviously it's time for us to move on and start the next chapter in our life.

This month Jacek is loving:
Going on holiday and getting a break from work
Finally visiting Elizabeth Castle
Going to Sark again
Sorting out the house and decluttering
Going to Inchadonney Beach

This month I'm loving:
Going on holiday
Sunny days
Photographing ALL the flowers and my boys with them
Getting gorgeous new clothes
Reading Daphne's Diary

This month Tyler is loving:
Days at the beach with his friend Riley
Playing with the neighbour's little girl
Going on the plane to see Granddad
Playing house
Having lots of ice-creams

This month Beau is loving:
Playing in the garden
Splashing in the water and eating sand at the beach
Pulling himself up to stand
Crawling around the playground at Tyler's school
Watching the washing machine go round

    1. Thank you Laura. We were lucky to visit this one on our holidays, the nearest one to us at home is over 3 hours away! Thank you, hopefully we'll be settled in a new place for eleven months at least before we have to find somewhere new.
