Shabby Chic-Mas ♥

Shabby Chic-mas

My most favourite time of the year is almost upon us - that being Christmas of course, and I've already begun to think of our Christmas decor for this year, I can't wait to have the room all Christmassy once again! As you all most probably know by now, I'm a big fan of shabby chic style decor, having the style featured throughout my house and it's a style I've shared on the blog many times before with my shabby chic inspired posts.

When I came across this Shabby Chic-Mas (don't you just love the play on words!) mood board I couldn't help but share, everything is so pretty and the muted colours are perfect for a relaxing Christmas themed room. I especially love the artificial Christmas tree with it's snow laden branches, it has me dreaming of Alpine forrests. I think it would look really pretty when adorned with lots of fairy lights and baubles.

The white stand table would be perfect for having in the corner of the living room and I'd place all of my nicest Christmas ornaments on it. The two chairs just embody the essence of the shabby chic style and they'd be lovely by the fire with some pretty cushions on top for a cosy, fireside gathering.

I really love the decoupage baubles, they're so beautiful and as gold is the theme of my Christmas tree each year they'd fit in perfectly. Of course, no Christmas themed room would be complete with a candle or two for making those long winter nights all the more cosy.

I love how everything featured above ties in together and as I said, gold is my favourite colour for Christmas decor. The fact that everything is shabby chic inspired just makes it all the more perfect!

Are you a fan of the Shabby Chic-Mas decor?
