It's June! Which means not only is officially the beginning of the summer - or so we're led to believe (the Irish summer is a bit of a legend really) but it's also Britmums Live month - yay! I announced that I am going to Britmums Live for the first time way back in November when I was approached by the wonderful My 1st Years who wanted to sponsor me to go to the even for the first time ever. I'm so excited to go to the event but am a bit worried about not knowing anyone, so if you're going please do say hello in the comments below, although I'm dragging my lovely other half along, fully immersing him into the blogging world, seeing as he does some of the photography on here and all that, hopeflly one day I'll convince him to write a post too! I've seen a lot of bloggers who are attending the event this year posting this meme so I thought I'd join in too, just for the fun of it all!
Twitter ID: @Trixiebellexx
Height: 5ft 7in
Hair: Long and blonde (although this may change to a dark grey before the event, maybe...)
Is this your first blogging conference?
Yes! I've never been to a blogging conference before and I've only ever attended two blogger meetups previously, one I organised myself. I'm so excited to see what goes on at a blogging conference and hopefully have a lot of fun there too.
Are you attending both days?
Also yes, although it may be a dash to the airport on Saturday evening from the conference to be able to catch my flight back to Cork!
What are you most looking forward to most about this year’s conferences?
Seeing bloggers whose blogs I read in 'real life' and hopefully getting to speak to some of them too. Also, attending the sessions and hopefully learning something new.
What are you wearing?
I have my eye on a lovely shirt dress from Henry Holland or a unicorn print dress from his collection also, which one to choose?!
What do you hope to gain from this year’s blogging conferences?
Hopefully some new blogging knowledge, new connections and a fun experience!
Do you have any tips to pass on to others who may not have been before?
Unfortunately not as this is my first year attending but hopefully I'll get to go next year too and pass on my Britmums knowledge onto some future newbies too.
Thank you so much to My 1st Years for making this all possible for me, I really can't wait for my trip to London baby!
