Dubai As A Family Holiday Destination ♥

Taking your first holiday abroad as a family can be stressful – just the idea of planning and organising could put you off altogether. But, if you're brave enough to tackle it (and prepared for flying with your little ones) the experience can be incredibly rewarding and provide the relaxing break your family needs – just like our first family trip abroad to the Algarve.

If you're worried about flying with your kids at such a young age, then you can always consider an Ireland or UK break for your first holiday, where you can load up the car and travel at your own pace, with car ferries available to take you to the neighbouring island. At the end of the day, you know your family best, so don't push for a holiday abroad until you feel like you and your kids can handle it.

However, if your children are a little older and you'd like to explore further afield, then Dubai is a great choice. Not only is this a place visited by the wealthy in search of designer brands and luxury experiences, but with beautiful beaches and loads of things to do, it also offers everything a family could want from a holiday. Here are some reasons why Dubai is a great family destination. Personally, I would love to visit Dubai one day and experience all it has to offer myself. The man-made islands look amazing as do the beaches and I bet my boys would love it there too, I know Jacek loves visiting new countries as often as he possibly can and it'd be great for my little family to holiday outside of Europe.

Not Your Average Package Holiday
For most families, a standard holiday abroad involves days at the beach, playing in the pool, amusing the kids and finding suitable places to eat. However, Dubai offers a different kind of holiday with water parks, safaris, camel rides, indoor skiing, underwater zoos and Burj Khalifa (the world's tallest building). There are tons of attractionsin Dubai to amuse the whole family, which is great because there's nothing worse than your kids complaining that they're bored!

There's so many Beaches
Dubai is a beach paradise – the photos look incredible! Of course, there's the famous Palm Beach, but there are so many stretches of sand here that you could visit a different one every day of your holiday. That sounds so much better than fighting over sun loungers on the beach in front of your hotel!

It's Incredibly Friendly
From hotel and attraction reviews, it seems like Dubai is a very family friendly destination. Staff seem to go above and beyond their duty to accommodate your needs and always offer service with a smile. When you go abroad, your number one priority is making sure your kids are happy, hydrated, safe and covered in sun cream, so it'd be great to go on holiday somewhere that seems so friendly and caring.

Have you ever been to Dubai? Is it a destination that you'd like to visit with your family someday?

  1. I have not been to Dubai before!! This sounds like an amazing place to vacation at. I would love to travel any were international but we are hoping to hit more spots in the United States this year for travel.

  2. Never been to Dubai before but I know a mum who moved there with her 2 children from Ireland. I'd love to visit. but I don't think hubby would approve because of the heat. I'm used to it and I don't mind.
