12 Months Of Happiness | February 2015 ♥

I'm continuing on with my 12 Months of Happiness series and am sharing with you all all the wonderful things which made me happy during the month of February. I meant to have this post up yesterday but I was too busy enjoying life to get on the laptop... I lie, I was in bed, I was exhausted yesterday - does anyone else ever get like that at the weekend? Anyhow, here are the things which made me smile in February...

My baby boy turned 2 on February 16th, something which made me quite emotional but quite happy too. Seeing this beautiful boy grow before my eyes has been the most rewarding and amazing experience I could have ever asked for. We had a little In the Night Garden tea party for him on the day before his birthday and it was so lovely. Seeing the smile on his face when he saw his birthday cake was just precious, he loved seeing all the characters and said "wow" over and over, he then got quite emotional, the little dote. He had a great time at his little tea party and was delighted to see his family and friends.

On Tyler Lee's actual birthday we took him to the beautiful Blarney Castle and Gardens and I was so happy to get some gorgeous snaps of him. I had been neglecting my photography somewhat this year so I made a big effort on his birthday to capture the magic of the beautiful surroundings around us and the little expressions and movements of my boy on his special day. I must print out all these photos and place them in an album for him to look back on when he's older, I also want to frame some, I love them so much.

On February 21st I attended the #CorkBlogMeet15 and I have to say I was so delighted to get to attend another blogger meetup. I had such a great day full of laughs, chats and amazing makeup and beauty products. Not only did I come away with great memories of a fun-filled day but I also received some very generous goodie bags, I felt, and still do really, like a lucky ducky. I even won a gorgeous prize on the day of some stunning Estee Lauder lipglosses too! I hope I can attend more blogger meetups in Cork this year, it's great when these kinds of events are on in my home city.

In February I was really inspired by Valentine's Day and made some sweet bakes and treats for my family. It was so great to bake again and I love how my cupcakes turned out with all their gorgeous glittered decorations, my family seemed to love them too. I also made some white chocolate popcorn which went down a treat. I loved my gold and pink glittered cupcakes and Valentine's cupcakes especially, I thought they were so pretty and I'm hoping all my future bakes will be as pretty as those were.

Pretty things were making me happy again this month. I am trying to fill my home and life with beautiful things that make me happy to look at and which make my family happy too. I made some very colourful and tasty Unicorn Food to cheer my son and I up when we were feeling very sick. I felt like a princess in my absolutely stunning Elsa Dress from Chi Chi Clothing, I have it hanging on the back of my bedroom door so I can look at it everyday, it's one of the most beautiful dresses I have ever seen in my life. I was also loving the pretty new additions to my home from The Handpicked Collection. I finally got my hands on the woodland rabbit night light I had been wanting for ages and was so in love with my fairytale bookends.

I really can't believe that it's already March 1st. March is probably my favourite month of the year and I have so many exciting things to look forward to this month. I can't wait to experience everything and share my adventures and positivity with you all throughout the month.
