Personalised Christmas Gifts For My Son ♥

I'm a big fan of anything personalised, especially when it comes to gifts and pieces for my son so with the festive season quickly approaching I went in search of some personalised gifts for him. I can across a website called Getting Personal - I think the clue is in the title about what they do, they provide a whole range of gifts for all occasions for all the family. I loved so many things that they had to offer in their kids section but I finally decided on three pieces.

The first thing I chose was the Personalised Children's Wooden Toy Tool Set and Case, having already gotten my son a wooden workbench for Christmas I thought this would be the perfect gift for my little budding builder. It includes everything he needs for his DIY adventures - a wooden hammer, drill, pliers and so on and everything comes complete in a solid wooden case with 'Tyler's Tools Love from Mumma and Dadda' engraved onto it. It really is such a wonderful first tool set for our boy and I can't wait to see him playing with it. My only bug bear with the set is that the wrench came with some of the tip broken off, I think this was down to a shipping issue but I can easily glue it back on so it should be okay. The tool set was just £29.99 - an absolute bargain for a wooden set like this.

The second thing I picked up for my boy was the Months of the Year book. I was sold when I saw the cover of this book, it looked really special and I loved that I could get my sons name on the cover. It came with the title 'Tyler Lee Learns the Months of the Year' and I thought this was such a special touch as he'll have this book for a long time. The illustrations inside are lovely with his name featured in every one and I think this will really help him to learn the months of the year and associate occasions which happen in those months thanks to the illustrations. I highly recommend this book, it's so sweet! This book was just £9.99.

Finally, I picked up another book - 12 Days of Christmas. I love the original version of this song so when I saw that this book was written to include a child's name and tweak the original lyrics to say what they'd get up to over the festive season I couldn't wait to have a read! I was able to personalise this book with Tyler's name and a message from his father and I on the inside cover. It'll act as a lovely keepsake for him each Christmas and is something which I hope we can read together in years to come. This book was also just £9.99.

I honestly loved so much from the Getting Personal site that I think I may have to go back for another browse and possibly a cheeky purchase! The products I got were all of fantastic quality, especially the books, they're much better and more reasonably priced than other soft backed books I've come across recently. Personalised gifts are so special especially at Christmas time as they'll be things to treasure for years to come and unique to the gift receiver. I really hope my boy loves his personalised gifts this year and gets lots of enjoyment out of them. I also included some gifts from Getting Personal in my Gifts for the One You Love post if you're looking for some unique gift ideas!

  19. I think books will make a good gift from Santa this year. Reading materials will not only encourage kids to learn how to read faster but they also set the mood for a nice bonding activity with the parents.
