I think it's clear from looking at my blog just how much I love taking pictures. I always have my camera at hand when I go out on walks and little adventures with my son, I love capturing memories and I love sharing them with the world. Another thing I love are personalised gifts and cards having been a snail mailer for years and this Christmas I was searching for ways to share two things I love - photography and the personal touch to show our loved ones and friends that we're thinking of them during the festive season.
I've come across some gorgeous Christmas photo cards in a wide range of designs that can be personalised how I would like them to be. I love the idea of sending out cards with an image I've taken myself and a personalised message as I think these turn into keepsakes rather than just being discarded once the Christmas decorations are being put away. Also, as my father and Jacek's parents live in different countries and don't get to see Tyler Lee very often I think they appreciate getting photos of him that they can hold onto and what better way of sharing some festive photos of him then in a sentimental Christmas card?!
I've been putting together a few options on the Minted site and there are so many lovely designs to choose from and ones to suit all tastes too. The cards are also available in a folded or flat card option as well as various colours for the script and your message on the card. My favourites from the site are the three options pictured below.
This is the Hap-Happiest Time Holiday Photo card option. I love how festive it looks and the font on the message. I think I'd have to take a more festive looking photo for the card though!
This is an Aglow Christmas Photo card, I love how simple it is and how it focuses on the 'Merry Christmas' message and the photo featured.
I also love this Calm-ish and Bright Holiday Photo card, I think it's a bit of fun as we all have halos. It'd be such a lovely card option if we had two or three children to act as the little angels.
I also love that Minted offers holiday postcards. Jacek and I both collect postcards and want postcards to be the invites for our wedding so having the option of a Christmas postcard to send to family and friends is such a fun concept to us. My favourite design is the Wish Banner holiday postcard as I think it really sums up the spirit of the festive season.
I'm so glad I came across this site. The prices for card and postcard sets are so reasonable, ideal for someone like me who is preparing for Christmas on a budget. Minted has a card for every occasion as well as a wide range of gifts, stationary and party decor that can all be personalised to show the people you love most just how much you care about them on their special day, whatever the occasion may be. I shall definitely be making a purchase and I think personalised, heartfelt and thoughtful is the perfect theme for our Christmas cards this year.
Which card is your favourite option from the three above or do you prefer the holiday postcard option?
