I am taking part in I Heart Snapping's weekly Living Arrows project, a photography project to capture an image which represents the magic of childhood through a parents eyes through the actions, likes, dislikes, looks and movements of your own children. Below are my pictures for week forty-five of Living Arrows. I have more than one picture to share this week as I've been busy trying to get some things crossed off mine and Tyler Lee's toddler autumn/winter bucket list. One of the things on our list was to sit on a hay bale and take some pictures and we finally got that done this week. Luckily my step-father has a barn full of hay bales so this provided the perfect backdrop for our photos and I think my little guys outfit of a plaid shirt and jeans fit in with hay theme quite well.
This kid cracks me up with all the silly faces he's been pulling lately, he's such a character and I think he'd give any actor a run for their money (he can cry on demand you know!). He was so happy sitting up on the bales as it was something completely new for him. Least to say we were both completely destroyed with strands of hay when we were finished taking our pictures, it brought me back to the days when I was a child jumping from the top bales down to the ones broken up below - happy days. I can't wait to see my boy enjoying doing this too one day, taking joy in the simple things in life, exploring the world around him and using it as his playground.
