Weigh-In Wednesday #5 - My Herbalife Journey ♥

I've now been taking Herbalife shakes and supplements for five weeks, I actually can't believe it! I've never stuck to any sort of diet or healthy living programme for this long so I think it's safe to say that Herbalife actually works for me in terms of being able to stick to it. I find it super easy to make up a shake and I actually enjoy having them for breakfast and lunch. I think it's quite beneficial for me to be having something which actually constitutes as a breakfast as before I would skip breakfast which led to snacking in the afternoon - no good for my weight! This week I have been a bit bold, the sunny, warm weather means that I want to enjoy some drinks and tasty yet very unhealthy food so I had two glasses of white wine and a bag of chips smothered in salt and vinegar, they were divine, however, I did pay for my treat when I felt bloated for about two days afterwards and saw my scales jump up a bit - eek! I didn't think having a treat and some wine would make that much a difference but thought made a fool of me. Thankfully I'm back on track now again and the scales are going down yet again, albeit slowly but going down all the same, even after my naughtiness. I would have been doing so much better if I didn't have those treats but I deserved them after all my hard work... I did didn't I?

Anyway, this week I've fitted into a pair of trousers which are a size smaller than what I usually wear and they were from H&M which has very small sizings (in my opinion) so yay for that! My tops, cardigans and blouses are fitting a lot better too, my chest has shrunk and I'm actually glad about that. What I like about Herbalife is that you're toning up as you're losing the weight and I can see this a bit on my arms, which have always been big but they're toning up. I was naive to think that I would have lost a lot more weight by now, wishful thinking on my part I think, but in reality it's better to lose weight at a steady pace as it's more likely to stay off then. I've also been told that you should give yourself 12 weeks on any diet/weight loss programme before you can start seeing real results so 7 weeks to go before I can see some real results of my healthy living regime.

My stats for week 5
Weight loss this week - 2lbs

Total weight loss - 21lbs
Total kg lost - 9.5kg
BMI - 36

I'm really hoping to make the 2 stone loss mark in the next two weeks, wish me luck!

  1. Well done on sticking to it :) it's crazy what one bad meal can do but a lot of it is just bloating and water weight at least!

  2. Well done! You are doing great! And just think at least that naughty meal affected you so badly because it'll make sure it doesn't happen often. If you had still lost weight after that meal and not bloated you could have been more tempted to do it again!

  3. Sticking to a diet routine is really hard so well done for getting this far. It's amazing how your body rejects/reacts to the things you used to eat when it's deprived!

    1. Thank you so much Anthea, it has been hard but I'm so glad I'm sticking to it. It is amazing, anything white or fatty in any way doesn't agree with me now.

    1. Haha nope, no chips this week, although I think it was the wine that was the biggest culprit!

  5. Well done. I admit I have a big problem when it comes to a long term routine... But I'm still tring thogh. I like the idea of keeping an evidence with all this. It's really motivating for you, but it's an example for us too :)
