Weigh-In Wednesday #2 - My Herbalife Journey ♥

Another week of my Herbalife journey has zoomed by and I am still sticking to it. I can safely say that this diet works for me as it's not about restricting what I can eat but about eating the proper, healthy foods I should have been eating all along and eating more regularly too.I seriously think my stomach has shrunk, when it gets to dinner time I eat half and then I'm full, I haven't felt completely full since I had my son, my appetite was huge after my pregnancy so yay for finally feeling full! What I've been eating has been very routine, simply because it's easier for me to stick to something if I have a good routine in place so my meals and eating times are a bit like this -

8 - A shake for breakfast
10 - A Greek yogurt, this week was toffee flavoured
1 - A shake with strawberries
3 - A can of tuna - no sauce!
6 - Dinner, this week I've had chicken curry and brown rice, cottage pie, omlette with onion and peppers, chili con carne and brown rice, chicken breast wraps with Cajun spice, roast chicken and peas

As you can see I still have a proper dinner each evening. What my diet all about essentially is knowing what protein can do for your body and how many grams to consume a day. I need to have 117g of protein a day which is really manageable for me between my shakes, meat and omlettes and my snacks. A can of tuna has 27g of protein and the Muller Light Greek yogurts which I'm eating have 6.9g of protein in them. I'm now on day 14 of my Herbalife journey and I can see some changes in myself already, my stomach looks flatter, my arms look a bit thinner and I'm fitting into my old clothes again. I still have a long way to go but I'm really proud of myself for sticking to my diet and for changing my eating habits for the better.

I didn't get to weigh in with my Herbalife consultant today so I'm only able to tell you one stat that I saw on my own scales, I've lost 8lbs this week it seems and have lost 14lbs/1 stone altogether! I really surprised but really delighted at the same time. I was searching for healthy eating/exercising inspiration quotes on Pinterest and came across this image which pretty much sums up why I want to lose weight.

My goal for next week is 4lbs and I really hope I can manage it. I'm on the road to achieving all the goals set out in the image above. I'm not there yet but I'm getting there, slowly and surely but most importantly healthily.

  10. So happy it works for you! <3 It's a really easy diet, as you said yourself and you can see the results quite soon and that's encouraging. I've also tried, but for me it had a side effect so unfortunately I had to stop. :(. But if you're ok with it, keep going, it really works. Tested. :)
