I received a beautiful purple duo nail polish from my friend Daisy and when I saw it I immediately loved the colour, to me it looked like a 'princess' shade, it was so pretty. The polish was Revlon's Nail Art Frenchmix in 'Moonstruck'. Both polishes in this duo are shimmery, one being a very light purple with strong hints of silver, the other being darker and more of a lilac shade, I used the darker colour to create this look. The polish applies so easily and with just two coats the colour is really deep and gorgeous on the nail, not watery or transparent looking at all. I topped with lilac shade with a gold glitter lacquer I bought whilst on holiday in Crete, the lacquer was by Fashion Make-Up in No. 2. I used just two streaks of this polish on each nail to add some specks of gold, I thought it was a great colour to compliment the lilac. The only negatives I would have about these polishes is that the Revlon Nail Art Frenchmix tends to smudge even an hour after application, it was completely dry and after I went to bed my thumb was all smudged when I woke up. The Fashion Make-Up glitter polishes are notoriously difficult to get off even with a heavy strength nail polish remover but they give such a pretty effect to any nail look that I love to use them. Overall I loved this look at think it is so pretty and the sprinkle of glitter really makes for a nice effect.
Stay pretty people!
