I'm back with another instalment of Tresses Thursday and this week I want to talk about a product which I've only just got around to using, despite being given at Christmas - Remington Pearl Wand. I honestly don't know why I didn't use this product sooner, I think I was just comfortable using my GHD for both curling and straightening, something which I have been using since I was thirteen so to take the chance on a new product was simply effort. I used my Remington Pearl Want for the first time last week and I was amazed at how quick and easy it is to use and get a gorgeous spiral curl look. I had used various makes of curling tongs before and was never impressed with them, I thought I would have the same experience with the Remington Pearl Wand but thankfully this was a winner in my books.
The wand itself comes with a black heat-proof glove which insures that you won't burn the fingers off yourself whilst trying to perfect your hairdo. It also comes with a silver pouch bag which is also heat-proof, perfect for placing the wand into after use to insure no surfaces get burnt - I once burnt the top of my fridge with a hair straightener! I took my hair in thin sections and wrapped it around the wand, reversing the direction on the different sides of my head to make sure that the curls fell naturally rather than be staged all over the place. I counted to ten seconds and then let the hair fall from the wand, the result, beautifully curled hair. I also used the Remington Pearl Wand on my hair extensions and the result was stunning, perfect spiral curls that cascaded down and lasted for hours on end. I love the Remington Pearl Wand, it's a fantastic product, it's simple, easy to use and gives a flawless result. As someone who is constantly varying between curly and straight hair I'm sure this product will be a staple in my hair styling routine, I just love the result it gives to my hair.
